Join us for a cozy afternoon filled with festive food, laughter and holiday cheer. Tickets are $30 per person and we are asking for advance payment by e-transfer to: payments@lonicerahall.com (transfer message should include your name and phone number and please indicate that this is for the Tea.)

Do you know someone who might benefit from living at Lonicera Hall?  As an independent living facility it is important to remember that we are not a nursing home but a retirement home for individuals who wish to have a stress free residential experience.  We currently have rooms available so if you are interested in leaving the dishes, meals, laundry and housekeeping to us, give us a call!  We are here to support you or your loved one.

As we near the year-end of 2025, please remember Lonicera Hall in your tax planning and charitable giving strategy.  As a registered charity with Canada Revenue Agency, we are able to provide a tax receipt for your donation, in any amount.  We also provide an on-line opportunity to donate through our website using the services of Zeffy.ca.  Click the “Donate” button right on this website and follow the prompts to donate using your credit card and receive an electronic tax receipt directly to your email inbox.  We sincerely appreciate your consideration and support.

We are pleased to announce that Mike Theriault was the lucky winner of the Fall 50/50 fundraiser.  Mike and Lonicera shared a jackpot of $2,216.00.  Thank you to everyone who bought tickets!

We are so happy to share that a project started late in 2024 has come to an end and that we have successfully raised just over $60,000 for a generator for Lonicera Hall!  Thank you to Caleb McLaughlin of TremTech Electrical Systems Inc. in Sussex for being so patient and supportive as we worked through the fundraising for this purchase.  Without our many supporters in our community we simply could not have accomplished this fundraising goal.  Thank you!

We had a beautiful day on Friday, May 16th, for our Spring yard sale. We decided to take advantage of the weather and extended it for most of the day. A rainy weekend is not good yard sale weather and rainy skies prevailed for the rest of the weekend.

We always appreciate the support from our community for our fundraising events. Thank you for coming out and browsing through the items. We were very happy with the results of the day and as we still have quite a few items (some didn’t even make it out of the basement!) we will have another yard-sale toward the end of August. Time and date to be announced so check back here and on our Facebook page for updates. Thank you again from the Lonicera team!

After five wonderful years as Administrator at Lonicera Hall, Trudy Higgins has made the decision to retire. Trudy has long been a passionate advocate for senior care, and her dedication has had a lasting impact not only on the Lonicera Hall community but throughout Charlotte County. Her leadership, kindness, and unwavering commitment to excellence have shaped our home in countless ways. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Trudy for her years of service and wish her the very best in this new chapter.
